Swans Chinese Takeaway

The best crispy pork with rice in the whole of London. I come here regularly and prices are cheap for the quality and portion size. I've tried their Ho fun noodles and they're pretty good too. Definitely recommend

I really wanted to like this place based on some of the other reviews. Chicken tasted strange so left it. Egg fried rice was nice though. Perhaps other menu items are better. Owner was polite but no warmth in the interaction. If I went back would def not have chicken and mushroom again. Reasonable prices and portion sizes.

I ordered 3 small portions and it was not only tasty it was stuffed with food.
Mixed vegetables - special fried rice - crispy pork (Loved it) 15.80£ value for money 👍🏾

I stayed @ hotel close to this chinese takeway.
Really yummy but wish I could have tried other menu.
Maybe next time ?

Ordered sweet & sour chicken balls, with some crispy beef:

Chicken balls were dubious at best, and highly doubt the amount of "chicken" actually included. Contained suspicious black dots throughout 'chicken' and generally tasted bland.
Crispy beef was like something out of a nightmare - best way I can think of describing the bland, tasteless, crunchy "beef" is by comparing it to deep-fried dust & dead skin.

Absolutely revolting food - would not recommend, unless looking for diseased foods.

They don’t do dine in or delivery, only take out and cash only.

Rude, unaccommodating and unprofessional !! We as a family have ordering from swans for years and wanted to place a big order for a birthday celebration, the owner was impatient and refused to take the order over the telephone, when I politely asked if we could proceed over the phone he said I don’t want your order and slammed the phone down. Shame as we have been using this take away for a number of years and we as a family will not again. Big loss for the takeaway.
