Chef Kang

I've been ordering both physically and through deliveries for a good while now and have confirmed with myself, my coworkers, and friends – some of which are from Asian regions very close to China and would know what Szechuan should taste like – that this is a great, authentic place. It definitely beats other Chinese takeaways I've had around London and I hope negative feedback doesn't change their dishes to placate people who can't handle Szechuan spices.

Best Chinese delivery I've ever had in London! Ordered Enoki Shredded Beef, Chicken Corn Soup, and Dry Wok King Prawns. Everything was yummy, and the enoki tasted right. Don't order anything above Mild if you don't like spicy food (even Mild is quite spicy).

Rude and disgusting customer service. Don't deserve NO CUSTOMERS @ OLD STREET BRANCH, NEED TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Order special fried rice and received white rice with mixed veg. Don't order from here, not proper Chinese food. Go somewhere else for your Chinese, you have been warned.

Got takeaway from them due to restaurants being closed. A good place to get more authentic Chinese food - if you want something beyond sweet & sour chicken and crispy chili beef, give them a try. Had a few really interesting and tasty dishes I hadn't tried before...and if it says spicy, it really will melt your face off!

Tasteless food, Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodle basically i got Italian pasta whit it.
The Crispy aromatic duck, was Moist aromatic duck.
Egg & Tomato Soup, was spill over in the bag.
Egg & Seaweed Soup, Special Fried Rice, Fish-Fragrant Aubergines (Mild) everything tasteless.
Please make sure you don't order from this specimen off restaurant.

Only positive reviews for Chef Kang! Prompt service along with authentic flavors. We are happy each and every time we have ordered from them! Love Chef Kang and will continue to order from the restaurant. Some faves: Chicken Chow Mein, Crispy Duck appetizer, vegetable dumplings, spring rolls, potato peper and aubergine. Yum!
