The Rising Sun

Rising Sun (日升) is a long-time favourite of mine, my family and my friends. The food here is really tasty - I love all of the noodle dishes on offer, the shredded crispy chilli pork, the aromatic duck. The set courses are also a great shout. The service is super efficient, and I like the decor a lot too, it's roomy and elegant. Go check them out!

This was so disappointing. The special fried rice was almost black in appearance and chicken in black green wasn’t edible. The rice and chow mien tasted like it was cooked I. Very old recycled oil and I would not recommend this Chinese to anyone. Even the prawn crackers tasted awful.

Ordered from here before and enjoyed it however today’s meal was really bland. Asked for chicken curry and got Tofu curry. Sadly doubt I will order from here again.

This food is amazing . The staff are so friendly . If I could give more stars I would .

There single dish meals are good value..

I live locally and have ordered from here every now and again when I couldn’t be bothered to collect from Peking diner. It’s just okay. The fried rice is quite flavourful but the prawn dishes are over priced for over cooked prawns. The fried starters like spring rolls and prawn toast are very bland and greasy. I would say the meat/fish is all a bit over cooked. I don’t know if the chef has changed but I’m sure it was better before.

Used this place for 12 years, never had a bad dish, Singapore fried noodles are amazing, friendly staff also. My visitors who have had it with us always compliment the dishes so win win

I ordered from here about 2 months ago and it was horrible never will I order from here again.. I couldn't eat it the chicken chow main looked like it was left over from the night before with hardly no chicken in Italy it didn't even look like chicken. There only thing that was ok was the meat pancake roll, maybe it was i ordered it when they just opened but won't order again from here again..
