Four Season Manor Park

Just yesterday I made an order via just eat. There were four things in the list.

Roast duck with mixed vegetables:
Duck was soggy and mixed vegetables were too soft.

Steam buns with chicken filling:
Buns were old as it was crumbling, do not order it. They are supposed to be super soft if its fresh.

Calamari rings:
Soggy again but probably was the best thing out of them all 3/5

Vegetable dumpling:
They didn't have them, but didn't even bother calling up and asking whether I would like a substitute.
Driver turned up telling me to get my refund from Just eat.
I called the takeaway and the lady over the phone tries to insist that driver is unable to deliver just the dumplings again. My answer was that it wasn't my problem, you should have called me whilst preparing the order to ask if I want a substitute. She then agrees to deliver.
I get a call in the next 30 min saying that driver has fallen ill and gone home, sorry but it cannot be delivered.
How much more obvious can it get that she was lying about it.
A driver gone off sick at 9 ? straight after when I requested a redelivery? knowing that your take away is busy?

Appalling service, I was really looking forward to the food but they put me really down. I would never be ordering from them again. A restaurant should not run their service based on lies. First of all your food isn't great plus you made that mistake and top it off by not rectifying it. They think that customers are stupid and don't know what the truth is.

Trust me the food isn't great at all so save your money. If you're local to Ilford you will be 10 times more happier going to Yen Lin and ordering from there in Goodmayes, then wasting your money at this takeaway.

Restaurant quality take away :) Run by a kind family, prices are good too. We have tried the won ton soup and the hot and sour soup they both taste really good and the Cripsy noodles which is a legend! I always ask for this meal if available, and this is the best I ever had :)

This place is amazing- the food is divine !! They did forget my sauce but delivered it straight away. Honestly, the food is amazing! We love Chinese but so often get disappointed by the delivery. I would highly recommend the set menu for 3 people- so much food! Can't breath 😀

This is actually the worst Chinese I’ve probably ever eaten. All dishes were soggy and tasteless. They didn’t even bother putting my main dish I’d been looking forward to so much in the bag! I called up and asked the stroppy unhelpful woman on the phone if she could go through deliveroo and get my main dish delivered she clearly couldn’t be bothered and even though it was their mistake they wanted me to deal with it and get a refund through deliveroo! I’ve worked in restaurants for years and never have I know such bad food and bad service! This place needs shutting down its shocking. It’s very clear that the people putting 5 star reviews are staff members and their friends probably with money incentives from the owner, don’t believe them and don’t waste your money!

Terrible!!! Do not order from here unless you got time to waste and don't want any form of explanation or apology.

Waited 2 hours for our food to arrive and called 11 times before finally getting through. Once I got through I was just told it was next. NO SORRY.

Above all the food is very expensive for what it is. I order the same meal each time from my regular and few others in the surrounding areas but nothing as expensive as this place. Unacceptable to pay that amount of money then get poor customer service and a 2 hour delay (after predicted delievery time, not including cooking or anything) when i live down the road as well. Never again.

We ordered Thai Tom Yum Kung, Deep Fried Squid with Chilli, Salt & Pepper, Squid Pad Thai with Thai Noodle, Thai Curry King Prawns : Green, Egg Fried Rice.

Such a disappointment, the Thai Tom soup was nothing like it should be, it was watery instead of creamy and tasted exactly like Sweet and Sour soup with only 2 prawns.
The Deep Fried Squid had hardly any pieces for the price that you pay.
The Squid and Prawn Pad Thai was not just dry, it was white as it no sauce was put on it. It was bland and like plain noodles just boiled pad Thai, with only 2 prawns.
Thai green curry was edible but not the greatest one I have ever tasted.
We were really excited for this takeaway but sadly we won’t be ordering from here again and won’t recommend others to, there are plenty of more and better Chinese restaurants in the area. They couldn’t even admit that the food was not what it was supposed to be, and as a foodie it was devastating!

I had a takeaway from them tonight, really nice food.

Look past the appearance.
The food is top notch.
I really enjoyed the food here, very tasty and plenty of choice.
Highly recommend the Malaysian dishes, especially the fried rice.
Spice levels good, ask for extra spicy if that's your thing and you won't be disappointed.
Good food at a reasonable price.
Highly recommend.
