Best around. And very fresh. We collect from willington and bring to Crook and still red hot. We pass 3 chinease restaurants to go there, why because it is by far superior

Inedible food
We picked up a meal last night and it was inedible.
This was not cooked by someone who knows what they are doing.
Firstly I had Duck in plum sauce, this was disgusting. The sauce was stodgy and thick, it looked like it was thickened with too much corn flour or flour as I could taste this, it was like porridge. There were enough large pieces of duck among this slurry but it was inedible. We also had salt and pepper chicken, this had too much salt and was therefore also inedible, Oh come on its not rocket science to add the correct amount of salt or simply taste a piece before you send it out, the purchaser could always add a little more salt if required, simple school boy error. Chicken and sweet corn soup was stodgy and had either too much corn flour or something similar added, this tasted of flour and was also inedible. Why send this out, simply look at it first. The sweet and sour chicken was similar. If you think its acceptable to send food out like this you should not be in business. I have been in business all my life and would not write a potentially damaging review like this lightly. We have a takeaway about once a fortnight and know that a review like this can be quite damaging. I would suggest the owner responds correctly and I'll consider removing it.
Please don't respond by blaming me, this food was terrible and inedible.

Told food would be delivered in an hour, it arrived in about 20 mins and as we live 5 or so miles away I was worried by the speed of delivery. The food was disgusting, covered in grease, my egg foo yung was brown (who's gonna eat brown egg??) the chips were hard and like warm, the chicken was overcooked and tough. All our meals were very poor oh yes and we also got a commentary bottle of pop that was 3 months out of date. Yuck. Never again!!!

Best Chinese takeaway we've had in a while. Great delivery service, prompt and the food was piping hot. Our son eats from here and he says that they are happy to adjust the seasoning to suit your taste. Worth trying.

Because the staff told me,

Friendly and welcoming great food and service from both front of house staff and delivery drivers food arrives warm and in good time no waiting longer than there produced times

Not sure why this place has so many 5* reviews, one of the worst Chinese takeaways I've had.

Sweet and sour chicken balls - sauce was too sweet as was very watery. Batter was also sweet. Chicken inside was low quality.

Honey chilli chicken - chicken looked very sad, not much to talk about. Didn't taste great.

Salt and pepper chips - probably the best thing there. Which is sad.

Fried rice - fine.

Prawn crackers - stale, not crispy and just a complete disappointment.

Overall, pretty poor, very bland, low quality and unsatisfying. Wouldn't order again.
