Comprehensive menu, reasonably priced. They would only take cash in payment which meant we had to go across the road to the local supermarket first. Good amount of parking. Food was nice.

We've used these quite a few times but then there really isn't much choice living in the villages. Food always nice and hot by the time we get home and is enjoyable. However they don't accept card, don't do delivery and even when I have phoned an order through it can still take a long time to get my food, it has on occasion felt quicker just to go and order it there as it seems they don't start cooking it until you are actually there and have paid.

ANOTHER WELL DESERVED UPDATED 5🌟REVIEW! I know I’ve done an update previously but Suki and Ting definitely deserve another review for their continued fabulous customer service! When I’ve phoned to order, nothing is ever too much trouble if I’ve requested changes to a dish and when I’ve collected, our food has alway been hot, freshly cooked and delicious! The prices are very reasonable, the portion sizes are generous and the service is excellent - thank you to all at the New World but a special thank you to Suki and Ting who are always incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming! The New World has improved 100% since the lovely Suki and Ting have been there - thank you! 💕

UPDATED REVIEW: Just had a fabulous takeaway meal from New World! I haven’t been there for 2 years due to the pandemic and being overcharged on previous occasions but I really wanted to give a 5 🌟 review update as it’s now improved so much! The lovely lady taking my phone order was delightful, so helpful and friendly and very happy to accommodate a change to a dish making it slightly milder than the advertised spicy hot dish. She gave me a price over the phone and this is what was charged on collection. The food was ready in 15 minutes as promised and was hot, fresh and very tasty. Extremely reasonably priced, great food and excellent service from the New World has definitely restored my confidence in becoming a regular user again! Thank you New World, fabulous food and customer service! 🙏Highly recommended ✨

PREVIOUS REVIEW: Lovely food, pleasant service and quick collection but like many other people it appears, I was overcharged by £1 (this has happened previously but I was told then, it was a mistake). When I questioned it this time, I was told it had new owners, although I recognised them from previous visits and I was also told the prices on the website were different to the Takeaway Menu, which they are, but on calculation, still an overcharge of £1 and no refund offered, so in my opinion, not a genuine mistake. As per other reviews, I would suggest you check your prices before you order! Not a big deal, except it happens every time I go there!

Solid basic take away Chinese food. Been going for years. Never expect posh grub and you'll be OK

Delicious we went back the following week. Very helpful and polite staff. Better than the Chinese back home.

It was very good for us,
There were mixed reviews for this takeaway - there weren't many others around to choose from so we gave it a go. Our meals were just great. We have a couple of mixed meat meals and they were good. Plenty of tasty meat and veg in a tasty sauce. The meat was still hot when we came down to the last bits - give it a try.

Ok I guess, staff member was polite and cooked fast while we waited, only downside was the chicken chow mein I asked for had an oily gravy on it 🤢 when I expected it to be dry noodles... and after pricing up the menu on Google it seems I was overcharged by £1.20, maybe old prices? 🤔 rest of the food was very tasty, well presented and piping hot when I got home so not too bad I guess
