Lan Hong House

Only given 1 star as there's not an option for zero stars. Food was awful, chow mein was that burnt it was black, prawn crackers were soft and tasted mouldy, rice was very watery and chicken in the curry was so undercooked it may aswell of still been clucking!!!
Complete waste of £25 as it all went in the bin. It may be very central and on my doorstep but I will never order from here again.

Probably one of the cheapest Chinese restaurants/takeaways in Cambridge. Good portion too!
One downside is that the wait time can be very very long if you go in during busy hours.

(updated Oct 2018) Lan Hong House was sold to a new owner, restaurant had been closed over the last few months, disappointed.

Lovely food, fantastic service. The hot and sour soup is superb.

Very authentic and delicious Chinese food. My friend and I ordered two stir-fried dishes. Later I learnt that the owner is from Harbin, the northernmost city in China, and they do Harbin dishes which are not commonly seen outside China.

It is not your typical posh Chinese but the food is absolutely authentic. Reasonable price. Uncle Wang doesn't speak English but is one of the best cook around.

Authentic & Delicious Chinese food. If you want to get an authentic taste of native Chinese food, this is the place you are looking for.

Good food. Did not have to wait too long. Restaurant mostly remains empty. The spring rolls were excellent. Egg fried rice was okay.

Good food but I wish they could understand English properly.
