Wok Express (Hen Lane since 2000)

Ordered food turned up 20 mins late. Some food was cold and looked like re-heats. I threw the food where it belongs in the bin. I complained to just eat and called the takeaway. I was met by the owner who expected me to rummage through my bin I order to give him the food back. He is the most rude man I have met and told me he has a policy which is not documented and is only In his head. Needless to say I have not got my money back and in my frustration I was not very nice to this disgusting man. I am a regular user of wok express. This is the first issue I have had but needless to say it will be the last. So much for being a valued customer. Horrible owner.

Absolutely terrible! Ordered food for family, ( including children) at 9.30 pm. waited till midnight and gave up. A man called at 12.30 am and I explained we been waiting for 2 hours and asked him if he was near. He hung up.. Next day called asking what happened and was met by the most rude woman who told me I had cancelled it myself! She started shouting it was me and my partners fault! When asking about my card parent I made she shouted I would have it in two days. Then, stated it would take a week. That was three weeks ago and no money has come back to me! What you have posted is complete lies Wok express! It was near midnight when your delivery driver called as I have call logged on my phone. I never said to cancel as your driver hung up on me when I explained he was late!!! Still no refund as you say you have no details for me but you quick enough to take the money from our card weren't you! And as you said you had my number as your delivery driver called us. Wok Express is a nightmare company as everyone can see , and I strongly advise people not to go there as would not want anyone to go through this awful customer experience.

Have been ordering from this takeaway for many years. Absolutely love their food. Tastes good, often quick with delivery unless they’re exceptionally busy. Only downfall for me is the prices seem to be rising regularly.

This is the second time I have had problems with just eat delivery from Wok Express so I’ll definitely not use them again! Tonight at around 7:20pm I ordered food from Wok express and had an email saying my food should be delivered at 9:20. I did think that was a long me to wait but accepted it as it’s Friday. At 9:10pm I got a text to say there was a delay so rang to find out how long it would take. I spoke to a man (not very friendly or apologetic) who left me on the phone while he spoke to a customer who I could hear was unhappy as he had been waiting a long time and his order was wrong. When he came back he said my order was ready and was waiting for the driver and it should be with me in 25 minutes, I asked if the food would be cold but was assured it would be fine. If he had said we are very busy I’d have cancelled the order and gone elsewhere. It is now10:40pm I am still waiting I have rang over100 times for an update and there’s a answer. I have been home all night and have a door bell with a camera so know that no one has arrived. I would like my money back please as even if it arrives now I will not be able to eat or enjoy it!! It is also too late to eat elsewhere! Disgusting service! I also suggest you remove the Express from your name!

Absolutely delicious food! We will be ordering again and recommending to friends and family around. It’s hard enough to have to get ‘take away’ in these challenging times but when the food is as delicious as this, it’s worth every penny! Fragrant, balanced seasoning, spicy where it needed to be and, thank you for the free spring rolls. All very delicious indeed!!

Ordered our takeaway via an app and was surprised with the nice food and quick delivery.

Tried after appalling service from a competitor, I was not disappointed, great food, good portions and fantastic delivery. Food was well cooked and hot, great taste and delivered before advised delivery slot. Would highly recommend and I am now a loyal customer in future. Well done Wok Express, great customer service

My first order was very impressive, my second order less so, all of the food was fresh and tasty however the beef curry and beef chow me in had a serious lack of beef. Had this not have been the case it would've been a definite 5 stars.
