I Heard that it had been taken over by new management! So I thought I would give them another try after hearing and reading good reviews. I wish I never placed the order and stuck with my original Chinese takeaway - THE FOOD I HAD WAS AWFUL!! Mini spring rolls tasted of nothing - chicken Peking style was the worst main we had!! Vom!! The sauce was weird, was more like a sour gravy :/ it wasn't pleasant at all! And they added garden peas to it! Nothing like I've ever had before! The seafood combination starter was also cold and flavourless. THE SEA WEED AND PRAWN CRACKERS WERE THE ONLY DECENT THINGS WE GOT - IT HAS GONE VERY DOWN HILL !! No authenticity at all - Will never be using again - I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEW REGENT!! You will not be disappointed. I wouldn't waste a penny here at J's guys. Very disappointed

This is the only Chinese that we use the food is well priced and not salty, delivery is always either on time stated or before which is really good for Rugby. The menu is varied with a fantastic selection of chinese and oriental food. We will remain loyal customers for many years to come.

Ordered at 4pm to ensure we would get food on a busy night. Ordered for 8.30. At 9.30 the food had not arrived. It had been marked as delivered on the app. I called and asked when my food would be here. The restaurant told me I should cancel my order as they are busy. I got no call to inform me that the food would not be coming.
No apology and very, very rude.
Don’t use this company. Lots of Chinese restaurants out there that deserve your custom. These guys don’t.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We had to wait almost 2 hours for the food which was rubbish in the end. Tried to reach them on phone but they kept put it on hold when they realised we are complaining. When I drove to the place after they sent us a message that the food has been delivered which clearly never happened, they were arrogant and rude. The food was still just waiting on their reception desk, wasn't even out for delivery! It was the worst Chinese food ever. Salty, disgusting looking, no vegetables and outrageous staff. Avoid this place!

If I knew how to give ZERO stars I would have done so....
BEWARE This shop operates with 2 different price lists so you don't actually get 10%
If you challenge them they show you a different menus suggesting these are the new prices.
Food used to be quality but standards have dropped recently. Combine this with pricing scam and attitude when challenged - Never Again

Not worth it. Dont care about taste. Everyting that went in the frier had a horrid taste, cant have changed the oil for year by the taste, rank!!!!!! Many other better options out there where they actually care about the food i think. Such a shame! Trust me. There will be no reply to this and thats how much they respect there ( ex ) customers

Right to be completely honest this was one of the most disappointing Chinese experience I’ve had to date and I’ve tried pretty much every place in Rugby, with the soup I’ve literally had water with more flavour, it was vile… as for the chicken wings I think they were left in the fryer for a couple hours as they were wayyyyy tooooo crispy, not edible, I would recommend not making soups if you can’t have any flavour in them and trying a different cooking/frying approach with the wings, thank you won’t come again.
