I would give zero stars if I could. I specifically asked for no peanuts in my food, yet here I am having an allergic reaction. It's simply not acceptable. Makes me worry what else their food may be contaminated with...

Great tasting food but couldn’t give top marks as they scrimp on ingredients.... chicken chow mein was just chicken and noodles and I counted 3 bean sprouts and nothing more. Small container for large price..... was delicious but boring !

Ordered a family meal as I was visiting bury. The food was so low quality for what you pay.
I asked for vegan chow mein, asked for no egg or milk and it came with egg.
They are lucky I’m not allergic.
They can end up with customers suing if they are not careful on listening to customers needs on ingredients.
They also gave us curry rolls instead of vegetable spring rolls.

A wide choice of items on the menu. We have tried a few over a year and they have all been good, some better compared to other Chinese takeaways we have used. Kung po chicken, egg fried rice, pork chow mein, sweet and sour pork, was a good choice. The containers are full. Have screens and keep contact risk low for virus transmission. Prices are comparable to other takeaways, but cheaper than takeaways from restaurants. Will definitely continue to use the Golden Valley.

Amazing quality food 🥘 best Chinese in town in my opinion

Normally this Chinese is 10/10 no complaints,chicken chow mein is normally my favourite dish. I don’t know if there has been a change in circumstances like a new chef or something but the food we recieved last night was below par. Also our chips were missing which we paid for. Very disappointing as this Chinese was our go to

Simply amazing! Our usual place was closed so tried here. Was cheaper and tastier than our usual. We have tried alot of chinese takeaways in Bury and this has to be one of, if not the best.
