THE ORIENTAL Cantonese Takeaway

Ordered a simple takeaway , the lady was rude on the phone when placed the order. The food arrived on time for a change and I thought that was a good sign ,only too undo the food bag and its Missing the rice to my meal. Rang up the woman and she was very rude . Waited 20 mins for the rice by which time I'd finished the main part . Avoid at all costs and rest assured will never order again from this place. It's a dive run down hole . Dirty ,greasy and tasteless . This used to warrant 5 stars but since new owners its 1 star at max .

This is the best takeaway. We are a family of four, are big eaters and yet the set meal for two people gives us plenty. The taste of all dishes is great. The price is really reasonable for what you get compared to most takeaways and the set meals have a great variety. Love the fortune cookies but you have to specifically ask for them when you pick your order up.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken
I got 9 very small pieces chicken 2 of them were just batter. This would not of fed a child. £7.30. DAME GREEDY PEOPLE.
When phoned they were so rude and dont care about there customers.
People there is better places to get your food from

It is one of the best Chinese take aways. In all the years I have been going here I have never had any problems with the food or the staff. Food is delicious, one a few places that the food isn't greasy. Definitely recommend. Really don't understand why it's had any bad reviews, in the 6+ years, the food tastes fresh and cooked thoroughly.

Ordered from here a few weeks back for the first time. The chicken curry and Sweet and Sour balls were nice and I'd be ordering from here again

One of the biggest Chinese menus I have seen, great staff members, lovely food, major variety of food with a decent price range you can order on bigfoodie if you don't prefer ringing up.

We've tried quite a few positions from the menu so far and were very happy with the flavours and quality. Black bean sauce is my favourite and they didn't let me down with it!
I ordered online recently for a specified time delivery and they were so punctual I couldn't believe. Came back from work and didn't even close the door and their car arrived. Everything fresh and tasty, nice flavours, we were very happy and are more than happy to order again!

The food was really good from here great service and friendly staff I would recommend. I did order a lot for 1 person which was stupid of me to do as I couldn't eat it all. So I saved a meal for the next day and I reheated the fried rice which I shouldn't have as it made me ill. But that was my own fault. The food was lovely and I enjoyed every bit of it. Do not reheat the rice as it will make you ill and that will be your own doing and not theirs as. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TAKE AWAY AND I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN the lamb curry, special fried rice. chicken satay skewers and egg fried rice with sweat and sour chicken balls so yeah I ordered way too much my for 1 person my own fault lol
