Mr NG's Chinese Takeaway

May have been busy but delivery took twice as long as told on the phone. When it came it was simply the worst takeaway food we have ever had, disgusting. It was well overcooked, tough and cold. Absolutely shocking, steer clear.

I would just like to share the appalling service we received tonight. We rang up to order food for delivery and was told that it would be with us in an hours time. We waited patiently it got to 8:15 which was 15 minutes late we couldn’t get through to the store to see how long delivery was going to be. The food finally turned up at 8:30 half an hour later than what it was meant to be. We then sat down to eat the food to find out it was stone cold tried to ring the store to tell them couldn’t get through I rang and rand numerous times so they must have taken the phone off the hook. We had to heat the food in the microwave which was then dry and tasted horrible. The curry sauce was just one big clump and not edible. We didn’t receive any sauce with our chicken balls. We basically wasted £40 to eat nothing what a waste of our time and money will not be eating here again.

Ordered 2 pork chow mein’s. Quit simple. Expect when I got home, I had been given 2 prawn chew mein’s. My wife is a allergic to prawns. So I called Mr NG’s to tell them, and they wanted to charge me for their mistake. Won’t be going back Dreadful service.

Got our order wrong when we called the girl said it was our mistake not theirs and they will re do and the wonder in the background said they wanted the food back and they will change. We didn’t want what they gave us anyway but we won’t ordering again if they are asking for food back especially in the current covid situation. Hopefully they don’t resell on what we have returned.

Always order from Mr Ng's and never had a problem, always able to place an order for 1 person when needed

I know they are under new management and will have teething problems. I called and the lady had to clarify things with someone elses and spoke in Chinese then both of them were talking and I couldn't tell if either of them were talking to me. Asked if I could pay on card, no.... .. can you pay the driver, I asked how much it came too twice to be then told order too small so cannot deliver at all

Do not eat from here 🤢🤢🤢! I have just recently moved to the area, and this is my local. Ordered chicken chow mein, special fried rice and curry sauce, and it was the most disgusting chinese I have ever ate! The curry sauce is not curry sauce, it has the weirdest taste. The rest of the food was disgusting too! None of the family ate it, complete waste of money. Will never order from here again! 🤢🤢

Polite staff and food cooked quickly and hot BUT NG House Special Chow Mein and HS fried Rice were covered in the same extremely salty brown unappetising sludge. I expected Fried Rice to be Rice with lovely bright veg and chopped meat mixed in not a couple of spoons of boiled rice with this brown salty sauce all over it? Very sad to have to write a bad review but won’t be ordering again even though your our local 😞😞😞

Whoever was on Salt & Pepper chip duty on Friday 14th May, send them our regards! We don't know why but they were the best ones yet, and we have them everytime!
