Basic, basic takeaway. No card machine and limited menu availability. They've obviously had a lot of experience running the business as their customer service (with their regulars) was second to none, unfortunately, as a newcomer to the area....

The staff are really friendly. I had a chicken and pineapple dish, it was very tasty. Loads of chicken and pineapple. Yummy 😋 there isn't a card reader however there's a cash machine across the road

A friend recommended this place as my local Chinese is closed due to the lockdown. The food is delicious. I came back about a week or two later and it was just as good as the first time. The lemon chicken and cripsy beef are lovely.

service seemed a little slow but food was excellent chips were amazing really tasty as was everything thing else nice friendly service definitely recommend can't wait to try another dish work way through menu

Just not good. Noodles were heavy and stodgy. Everything seemed to stick together and felt artificial. I don't like leaving bad reviews but..... I have to. It was poor. I try to give places a second chance but I can't go through that again. Definitely not for me.

Superb food and service .highly recommended

Stopped for some food on the way home, won't be returning. They only accept cash, so had to pay to withdraw money. They served me a chicken breast that was stone cold on the inside and hotter than the sun on the outside - all knowing it was for a child! The chips were vile and the curry sauce was like something out of a bottle.

Another place to add to the growing list of do not returns.

Happy Garden is a firm favourite takeaway of ours.
Lovely and friendly staff who have owned the place for many years.
Food always tastes fresh, hot and very tasty.
Very reasonably priced!
Only cash payments accepted so take money.
