This review covers two orders a week apart.

1st Order - I ordered this around 8pm and there was rather long wait as the ETA was 9.20. Food did turn up just before then which was good and food was hot and seemed to include fresh ingredients.

Roast Duck Cantonese Style was fatty but that's how it is in a Chinese, and I quite like it. However was not a fan of one peice as it was just weirdly crunchy. Rice was really nice but did seem to lack something, however couldn't figure out what it was.

2nd Order - Not too impressed ... Ordered again through Just Eat and the ETA given was 7.45pm after ordering around 6.45pm (latest 8.05pm). Sadly, this time they did arrive late (8.30pm), meaning I was very hungry when it arrived ...

The chicken and cashew nuts I ordered was amazing and the Duck for the pancakes was epic as it was the first order. The rice again seemed like it was lacking something but still nice. There is definitely consistency with the quality of food.

I was going to give this review a 4 star based off the first order but since it arrived so late and there was no apology from the driver, I have dropped it to a 3. Delivery it probably the most important part of a takeaway and is overlooked by so many ...

I was also quite surprised that we didn't even get free prawn crackers with the order. This is usually pretty standard from most take away restaurants and this would definitely be a nice improvement with what we paid!

Low quality food. Chicken balls we're disgusting, flavourless curry and was given boiled rice instead of fried. Will not be back.

the food was good, just your standard Chinese takeaway. Chicken curry was good chips were a little dry but the capitol sauce is always good there

Best Chinese for miles by far. The foods always amazing and delivery is ALWAYS quicker than they say. If you want a Chinese from anywhere in Neath or Port Talbot this is the one you want to go to, I like my Chinese and by a bit of luck when I moved here this is the closest one to me and for nearly 5 years I’ve never had a bad meal ( touch wood ) or tried anywhere else because don’t fix what’s not broken

First time to order take away and won’t be doing it again.. I ordered the box as it had a few different things in it to try .. when it arrived it looked unappetising, it was cold, the little tiny ribs were so dry as was the chicken bits in there tons of chips just squashed into a box my partners meal was a little better. Won’t be ordering again

Spring rolls were lovely, but that's where the praise ends. Rice: sticky horrible stuff. Curry: horrible and tastes like its from a supermarket. Chips: Average chips for a Chinese takeaway. Delivery/Wait Time: 1 Hour. This place is always more miss than hit so I think this was the final straw and last time we'll buy from here. If it wasn't for spring rolls I'd have been hungry having wasted the rest, all my family members agreed the food wasn't nice.

We don't usually have a bad experience with food from New Garden, but our last meal was well below their usual standard.
Special Curry - no prawns, lots of onions.
Chips - hard and dry
Peking Ribs - no meat on the ribs, all bone and gristle
Delivered on time on a busy Saturday but food was not hot and I don't like warming it up. Come on New Garden you can do better, this was very disappointing

Absolutely awful, took 2 hours to arrive (I live 20 mins away if that) and when it did arrive the food was stone cold. I ordered salt and chilli chicken which had turned into rubber, completely inedible. And then when I complained they made no attempt to fix the situation
