Golden Dragon

We ordered food from here last night, the staff was polite and friendly. The food came in about 40 minutes which was earlier than we were told which was great for us because we were really hungry! One of us found a hair in our food but was not sure if it was her own or one of the workers. Once it came they did not give us the correct change we were £10 short, but we called and told them and they quickly came back and gave us the correct change in about 10-15 minutes.

Have to give them the benefit of the doubt as it was new year's eve placed an telephone order with them for pick up, got told it would be ready in an hour which was fine got there to be made to wait another 1 hour 15 minutes for food without even a sorry from them for the long wait. Got food home nearly all the food was cold, rice was all clumped together, curry had no taste, chips were over cooked so was the sausage, chow mein bland without hardly any sauce when asked for it with sauce. People didn't listen to social distance rules and they didn't say anything it was left down to one of the delivery drivers to say something. Woman behind counter was wearing a glove to handle money and didn't change it once even though she was meant to. From now on I'll stick to my local Chinese, had there twice before and have been alright but after this experience I won't be going there again

30mins late delivery going off latest time (but third party driver was lovely). £10 for just a Thai green curry is extortionate pricing, assumed rice was inc! Rice chargeable on arrival for small portion - has put me off for sure.

Food is top notch. Don't let anyone tell you any different. It's what keeps me calling. The service is a bit ropey, but you can deal with that for the quality grub.
I'm not from Swansea, and it didn't take long for me to make this place my regular Chinese after moving to the city. You should make it yours too.

*Edit* Been a very long time since we last experienced any ropey service, so I've increased my review from 3 to 5 stars. As a side note, I now call the restaurant directly rather than use the rip off merchants who are just eat. Perhaps that is why my service has improved so noticibly.

The food tasted stale and off? Prawn crackers tasted like they were 3 days old if not more, I wouldn't recommend this place if your looking for a Chinese I would give this one a miss

Ordered one of the new box meals. It was supposed to be vegan chicken it was tofu which I hate. I thought it was salt and pepper like you normally get I Chinese as in salt, pepper, chilli and garlic but it was just a load of black pepper and two pieces of onion. The sauce is tiny so order more if you get this. Was really disappointed as vegetarians/vegans normally get forgotten about in this sort of thing and with delivery and processing fee (via uber eats) it was expensive but wanted to treat ourselves. Mix veg we got with it was tasty and hit and delivery quick but sorry that is the only good thing I have to say

Lovely food, would definitely recommend.

Ordered foo yung and it tasted rotten.

Phoned them up to seek a replacement and was rudely spoken too by the ‘female’ on the phone.

She then hung up the phone. Poor service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Will be taking my large weekly order elsewhere from now on.

This place should be shut down.
