Happy Wok

Just had a meal here... First and last time l should have walked away when l saw 3 stars...l had a house special fried rice... The rice was just not fresh neither was the be meat it was dry and brittle obviously had be prepaired a long time before l got there... I also had mixed vegetables which were soggy and stewed again not fresh with some very dark fried cashew nuts which l have never had in plain mixed vegetables before and were clearly not fresh or they would have been crispy... The pancke rolls were just about eatable hence it gets one star... I certainly would not recommend this takeaway 😠

Our food tonight was absolutely discusting. The chips and chicken balls were not fresh at all were definitely cooked for hours and obviously just warmed back up . I phoned to make a complaint and they actually hanged up on me !

Just had chicken curry and chips from there asked over the phone if it was chicken breast in the curry fair play the girl went and asked the replay was yes it is . Got it home it went straight in the bin chicken was slimy will never go there again

Ordered food on Foodhub from here at 6:15pm this evening. Got home expecting to receive it at around 7:20pm. At 8:15pm we still hadn’t received our food. Rang restaurant up and asked where our food was, to be met with a confused guy on the phone asking the name it’s under and the address. Someone tells him that that order was cancelled but we had no notification until a minute later where we received an email to say our food was cancelled.
Absolutely appalled to have not been told or informed an hour before! Will not be ordering again as staff obviously incompetent with online orders.
Ordered from somewhere else instead.

No stars really. However, I just want to comment that if you're ordering from Just Eat and you're coming from the other side of the valley, Treherbert, Treorchy, Pentre, Ystrad etc..., don't order from Happy Wok unless you intend to pickup yourself. They don't deliver to these areas. I have tried twice through Just Eat and each time my order was rejected. Therefore, I telephoned to find out why. They don't deliver to this side of the valley. In all fairness though, the lady said that they had told Just Eat to stop advertising their services to the other side of the valley but Just Eat hadn't updated their request, or hadn't listened to them. Therefore, just to let Happy Wok know, I have left a message on Just Eat's feedback page, to let them know to take Happy Wok's service and delivery off the Treorchy side of the valley. Hopefully, they will act on it and then, there will be no more disappointed customers wondering why their order has been rejected! I was so looking forward to a Happy Wok, now I've ordered elsewhere, so cross fingers, I'll be Happy Woking off with a new yummy order soon. ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ

Walked in tonight to order food, greeted by a blonde miserable, un-welcoming staff member. Asked her about the menu and she rolled her eyes, so walked out with no food. Disappointing really!!

Always a great meal.
Priced just right and staff are lovely.
