Golden Dragon Takeaway (GD BOX) & Off Licence, 2018 British Takeaway Award in Wales Winner

We ordered our food on a Friday evening and it was for a collection. This is my 2nd order with these guys. They were busy with plenty of orders but our food was packed and ready for collection on time. For was fresh hot and tasted delicious. I would definitely visit again.

Fantastic take-away option, with dishes not limited to traditional Chinese, but also Thai and Indian dishes. Staff are fantastic and are happy to help with requests for amendments to dishes. Fantastic vegetarian options across all cuisine choices. They are available on Just Eat and have their own app for placing orders in addition to phoning them directly. Walking into this takeaway I was able to order and recieve my meal in a very short time. The pricing is slightly higher than other options in the area, but is justified by the quality of the food and the service. Deliveries can be made to most parts of Swansea, although it would be recommended to check for certain areas and the cost of delivery. They are an off licence and stock limited toiletries and snacks.

Ordered at 9:30 pm, it’s 11pm and still not arrived. Lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful and told me it was my problem. The food ends up coming at 11, absolutely bland, not for the stuff I ordered and extremely late. Only go here if you want to be depressed For the rest of your life. (Not joking)

Ordered via Uber Eats at 8pm and food was not delivered until 10:30pm and did not answer the telephone during the intervening period.

If you are struggling to deliver or are understaffed then simply stop taking orders instead of disappointing customers.

Plenty of other choices in Swansea so won’t be using this outfit again.

Food was ordered at 7pm arrived past 11pm. Called to ask where food was and said it was on the way when it wasn't. Expensive and very poor quality food. Not sure why they are "award winning" wouldn't order from them again.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had the food was disgusting cold took ages to come ordered via Uber eats and didn’t come at time it said and couldn’t ring the place to find out very frustrating would never order here again food is terrible

8takeaway closed. Pricey i dont know why why? Chicken curry sauce was dark brown and lumpy was full of square pieces of dried up chicken so was the chicken cantonese style. Chicken fried rice was a blob of rice with a few peas and dried chicken thrown in. What a waste of money. Never again
