St George's Church

Great Central location. Imposing structure.

Lovely church hall. Attended an excellent amateur theatrical production

I was manager of Church Hall for 12 years at present it is being used to hold all church services while the church's foundations are being strengthened, we are hoping to be back in the church by Christmas.

Good size meeting room and Hall.

Interesting building, welcoming people.

This is based on only one visit to the church for the 2018 Christingle service.

The building is big, really big, almost a mini cathedral, with seating both downstairs and in the balcony upstairs. The pews suit the church's style but are uncomfortable even with the padding on the seats.

Despite the very cold weather outside, the inside was warm. By the way we were greeted and seated, it was obvious a lot of care had gone into the organisation of the service. The kids there loved it.

Would we attend if we lived locally? Definitely.
