St Mary Magdalene

Atmospheric place but the 5 bells were a tough set to ring. Long draft, stretchy ropes and 19cwt tenor, but sounded splendid.

Lovely tone to the organ and a pleasant recital venue. Quite difficult to find the way in by car though.

Lovely 12th century Norman church, secluded within the grounds of Castle Ashby.
