I LOVE this church. I've always thought it's a real jewel in the Crown for dalton. If you're a visitor to Dalton this is a must. It's outstanding, with all its pillars, organ and stained glass windows. It's a lovely place.

Lovely Church, very friendly and welcoming Vicar. My great Grandparents were married here in 1892 John Jackson and Margaret Ann Furness. She was the daughter of local engine driver Thomas Furness and his wife Margaret Askew. Visiting St Mary's was so important for us. Thank you

Beautiful church! Well worth a visit, it's straight across from the lityle Dalton Castle. I arrived when a christening was taking place so unfortunately couldn't take pictures of the inside, didn't feel comfortable doing that, but it was lovely to catch the end of the service & the little girl looked adorable!

Just visited the annual Christmas Tree festival. I would highly recommend a visit during December. Take lots of change to give to the tree charities.

A beautiful parish church that is well cared for inside and out. The Christmas tree 🎄 festival is a lovely tradition to raise charity funds.
