St Bartholomew's Church, Colne

Friendly welcoming community church , open weekdays mornings and Sunday services.
When I was Colne Park High School Deputy head teacher, I organized many of our annual carol Services in the historic church, first built in 1122AD

Turned up at 10.50am to see inside the church and unfortunately it was closed, even though it stated it was open 10am-12pm daily. We were gutted.

The church felt very warm and inviting. The people lovely and welcoming.

A large parish church that is in the heart of this town. The stonework is quite dark, but inside there are some interesting brochures and plaques and windows to admire.
There is coffee morning on Mon, Tues and Weds inside the church and on Thurs a "knit and natter" meeting which is normally well attended.

Very friendly welcoming church. Alternating services. Abundant of activities to join. Highly recommended.

This is my home town church built in the 11 hundreds it's a nice place to visit .
