The Well Church - Lytham St Annes

Attended at the request of a friend who wanted to get my "take" on the scriptural veracity of this church.

Sadly disillusioned (yet again).

These "prosperity gospel" - "new scriptural revelation" churches have NO authenticity in true Scripture whatsoever.

I'll refer you to Galatians 1: 6-8 (if you're not so "taken in") yet by these supposed "christian" churches.

Sad to say that there are many of these "churches" springing up. Most in deprived areas where people are most desperate - yet some are in more affluent areas where it is very "accepted" & "beneficial" to be part of a "church" community (country club churches).

These places actually lead people AWAY from true scriptural teaching - which might be comfortable for the receipients of such heresies, but it is not Gods word or direction.

If you really want to follow Christ's teachings, you'll look very carefully at what these "churches" espouse - it's only your very SOUL that's at risk by following their heresies !

If you've never heard of the Toronto "blessing" - or more appropriately "curse" do a bit of research, (look at some of the youtube postings from within the Toronto "church"), as this is the movement that this "church" follows !
People rolling in aisles at Toronto, grunting like pigs, howling like demented monkeys, being led around with dog leashes & collars with a constant racket of gibbering in the background - they call it the Holy Spirit manifesting - I call it demonic.
This is far, far worse than the "run of the mill" heretical "word of faith "(fake) ministries, which after all are just a "pyramid scheme" to enhance the finances of the "ministers".
Churches like this are actually fulfilling Biblical prophesies, "there will be false teachers & prophets who will deceive many, even the elect", therefore, even if they don't know it, they're following God's design.

There is only one thing of value - your immortal soul - there is only one Teacher, Jesus Christ himself.

As Paul said - "Test everything - hold on to what is good" - that doesn't mean "touchy - feely" good - it means SPIRITUALLY good !

Great place to worship the Lord Jesus.

Fantastic Church that really involves the whole family. Children are free to express themselves, just like the adults. Great teaching, great people, and heart felt worship times.

Wonderful church Vibrant congregation Great Worship and Music.

Plenty for all the family from Messy church Services to Wednesday Lunchtime Service for over 50s.

Weekday study Home Groups too for all.

Wonderful worship gathering sharing the love of Christ.

Warm and welcoming church. Great hospitality.

A combination of awesome worship and insightful delivery of God's word.
Very warm congregation also...great experience!
