St Mary's Catholic Church

Good service friendly

Only attended outside to pay respects at a relative's funeral service. Social distancing was observed inside.
Historical church. Catholic. Adjoining graveyard.

Went to funeral here and was shocked at how badly the service went. Music and prayers on the order of service were missed or in the case of recorded music , not available. The priest is clearly well past retirement age, he lost his place on numerous occasions , and basically stumbled through the service, very embarrassed looks all round from the congregation and it looked at one point that the undertaker was going to take over. Not the memories of the passing of a dear family member or friend that you want. Church was nice though.
