My friends and I arrived at the graveyard after sundown. It was quite the place to find! I was amazed by the old grave markers. It's really sad that many of them are falling over or have fallen. Maybe the town folk will join together to save them before they fall into further disrepair. I was hoping for a ghost or two, but none decided to pay us a visit.

Very specific place to visit and I dont know why but I loved the walk in church cemetery. Area is nice too. I have not been inside of the church, but definitely will go there next time. It looks this old church have quite of a history and maybe that added to a good feeling being there. I heard about all ghost stories and etc, but not seen anything. Its good for a walk on your own or with your other half.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Harvest Eucharist at this church. It was very meaningful and thought provoking.

St Nicholas’ Church is a grade I listed church, which is over 900 years old, with some areas dating back to the Norman age. During the centuries alterations and extensions have been made, such as the main nave and chancel roof, built during the 14 century. The medieval spire, south porch and the Dering Chapel were added during the 15th century. Lit a candle and admired the stain glass and bronzes.
