St James Church

Great place of worship and a great family and single fellowship on Sundays st James church also has a lot of children's activities and we also have house groups and once a month we have young at heart this group meet in the afternoon of the 1st Thursday in the month we have different activities at the group well worth a visit we have a lot to offer for all age groups and families and single people at st James church so come and give us a visit our services on a Sunday are 9am till 10am ordinary service and 10.30am till about 11.45am all age and family service then after tea & coffee and a good chat you're all welcome to join us god bless. It's great to know that this church is carrying on with its life of worship and service during the current pandemic. If you go in person, when local rules allow, it is fully Covid Secure, with check-in, Covid sanitation, and everyone wears a mask.

Perhaps, with more relevance for those who still wish to self isolate, or are unable to be there in person, the church has maintained a strong online presence with services streamed on YouTube and Facebook. Search: stjamesclitheroe on YouTube and Facebook.

Went for a christening, lovely church,really good group of musicians and singers,this church really does a lot for the community

We went to megga Mondays during the summer holidays and had so much family fun, each week there were diffent activities on and somthing for all ages too. We had our 10 month old daughter playing in the baby area our 6 year old jumping and running through the amazing bouncy castle and our 8 year old grandaughter decorating cakes, having her hair braided and getting some glitter tattoos too and that was just the 1st week! I felt completly safe letting the children do different things as the staff were amazing and I don't just mean did there job they all went above and beyond, they chatted with the children, helped them with the different activities, helped them round the treasure hunt, played pool with them as well as staff being dotted around just to chat to everyone too. Dinners were provided and were amazing! Freshly cooked burgers, sausages all sorts of hot and cold food, my baby food was heated up for me too. We will be booking in for the next sessions for sure.
