Beautiful day to visit the grave of the Particular Baptist Hymn Writer Anne Steele. The grave is outside the south door. She wrote beautiful Biblical Hymns which are still sung today at our Chapel in Winchester (Hyde Street Chapel). Such a shame that the Baptist Chapel she worshipped at in Broughton is no longer open and has become a house.
