Beautiful church in an area that is rich in history with Roman and Celtic worshippers coming here 2000 years ago.
Poppy day was something very special and had to be seen to be moved. Well done to all those involved in a castle wall of poppy's.

First time I have visited St Peters church Northney on Hayling Island last Sunday afternoon. It is a typical old village church that looks well supported by the local community. The display of poppies outside the church 16, 000 are breathtaking and inside the church it is very moving.

A wonderful church with an interesting history, but at the moment there is also a presentation of poppies and select displays detailing Haylings involvement in the wars, especially WWI. Visit and be humbled.

What the Church needs to-day is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use — men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men, men of prayer.”- E. M. Bounds

Beautiful church, wonderful Vicar, very peaceful place. My inlaws were both buried here and nothing was too much trouble, a cosy church with lovely quiet grounds to visit loved ones passed

My sister and I had a really nice surprise on entering the church. The partially sighted organist played most beautifully for us. Plenty of happy emotional tears xxxxx thank you. The church and the grounds are immaculate x
