A very special place to me, the Church my parents were married in 1943, part of both myself and my brother's lives. Designed by Sir Edward Maufe, the architect of Guildford Cathedral, St John's exhibiting many simpler features of his designs before he commenced work on the Cathedral. Well maintained, and furnished, most of the kneelers hand embroidered by the Parishioners, has been extended to provide side Chapel, Community / Coffee area and lively Parish office.
