St Georges Church Of England Portsea (Harbour Church Gunwharf location)

I went to a friend's daughter's baptism here recently as was overwhelmed with the vibrant, energetic and spiritual service which engaged the mainly young and lively congregation. The church was bursting. Such a great sight for a regular churchgoer like me to see.

Amazing church. During the pandemic they have been able to continue to create a wonderful covid-secure atmosphere for worship, prayer and communion - head down between 4-6 on a Sunday. In addition they have been delivering thousands of food parcels and child activity packs (with sweets!) to families around Portsmouth. Such a blessing to the community

Great church, really active and welcoming. There doing loads of services on Sunday and throughout the week

Warm welcome. Good refreshments. Amazing worship team really set the tone. Good youth team to engage the teenagers.

I attended a sale event at the church. Facilities were clean and the church provides a very bright and airy venue for events. I would definitely recommend it.

A church that wasn't afraid to open their doors as soon as it was legal to do so. Whilst other churches continue to hide away (stay closed) behind the guise of Covid Regulations, Harbour Church has done what it can to get people back together again.

A church that's open to all, and has different types of services - from more Traditional to the modern lively services (which appeal to young through to the older generations).

My favourite place to be on a Sunday! Harbour Church is welcoming, friendly, a place to feel loved and belonging. The word of God is alive at Harbour, amazing worship and prayer!

A women only day every month. Regardless of age, ethnicity or religion. Look forward each month. Good food and non judgmental company.
