Surprisingly nice little church in the centre of a tower block estate.

Fine brick church restored in 19th century, beautifully lit interior with the famous Handel organ, and the landmark bell-tower. The nearby vicarage is another elegant building, and together with the adjacent ramparts it is a worthwhile historic group to visit.

Beautiful place but there are some not so friendly people that regularly congregate outside on the benches which is very off putting. Such a shame as it's a lovely looking church

I have lived in Gosport practically all my life. I grew up on the Rowner estate and went to school at Brune Park Community School. I have always held a certain reverence for some of the more venerable aspects of Gosport and Holy Trinity Church is right up there amongst the best. It stands alone by Bastion No1 by Haslar Marina. The church itself is very welcoming, my wife and I were able to have a wander in the afternoon and saw for ourselves how well the church is cared for. The interior is wonderfully lit and has its original windows intact. It is easy to find and I would recommend a visit!
