This building was originally the Sargeant’s mess at the WW1 RFC airfield, down the road at hanger corner on the Goldhanger Rd. I believe it was relocated around the 1920’s after the airfield closed down. I haven’t been inside but by looking through the windows, although the main room has been changed for its current purpose, the small room/office at one end still retains the feel and look of those bygone days.
