Beautiful church with lots of history and well kept. So much to see. I enjoyed visiting here.

During a walk through Christchurch, we naturally also took a look at the church. Of course, it is not quite as spectacular as the famous cathedrals in the surrounding area. But it has a special flair. As soon as we entered, we heard the sound of a piano. Someone was playing so beautifully that we sat down for a few minutes to listen to the "private concert". It made the visit special. Thanks to the unknown pianist.

Stunning Church from the outside and on the inside. In truth it should be classed as a small cathedral. I was delighted to find the Percy Bysshe Shelley memorial sculpture, some stunning stained glass from a variety of periods, the intriguing story of it's early construction and miraculous beam, the beautiful quire with 14th cent. reredos and amazing misericords. I was fortunate to visit whilst someone was playing the magnificent organ and the sound was incredible, I had goosebumps! I fell in love with the atmosphere of the
place. Also, it has an excellent new cafe and shop with great outdoor seating.

It is really a nice and cosy place to visit with the family. It is close to the high street and lots of restaurants and cafes. It has many historical parts to see.

A historic church dating back to the 11th century. I enjoyed my visit very much. The building, particularly the stained glass and architecture is interesting and beautiful. It is the longest parish church in England.
There is a small gift shop with friendly staff. I only wish they stocked decent postcards. The churchyard and gardens are extensive with seats to rest and contemplate.

I absolutely enjoyed this profound historical site. So much to explore and so much history to absorb. I wanted to take photo after photo. Felt the spirits of the honoured dead all throughout the sacred church. God rest and bless them. And absolutely enjoyed the walk and seeing the swans and ducks at the Town Quay afterwards!

Fantastic piece of history and architecture. It's such a beautiful place and so very peaceful. There are so many scenic things also to photograph near the priory you really are spolit for choice. Parking is very reasonable, I paid £3.20 for 4 hours of parking. The Cark park isn't massive so on seasonal days, get there early if you have mobility problems and want to be parked close by. There is a small cafe and plenty of places to sit outside on sunny days.

Christchurch priory is a beautiful place to visit, the building itself is so magnificent but is surrounded by lots of wonderful places to walk to. It's also sitting at the mouth of the rivers Avon and Stour. Inside the priory the ancient building really is beautiful, high vaulted ceilings and magnificent stained glass. There is a coffee shop come restaurant inside as well . Well worth a visit.
