Wexham Court Parish Hall

Went to the hall for a wake. The caretaker was an hour late opening up so the road was clogged with cars waiting to get into the carpark, which was upsetting for the widow. The hall was basic and had a strange smell, not a plan e I would choose.

Lynne Cresdee was very rude to the widow !!she has not shown any compassion at all.!!callous and cold

We are very strong Filipino community in slough and most of us works in the health service so we know how to look after other people in time of sorrow and grief

We booked a wake for our dearest friend on the 19/06/19 from 3-6 pm , It was arranged with Lynne cressdee on the 13/06 . Deposit paid . She asked us to be there by 2:39 and Harry stabbard will be there to open the gate and hall , we came on time . No Harry no one is waiting . The gate were still locked we cannot get it .
We rang Harry several times it just went to his answering machine , we left messages , eventually he answers back with negative response of “ I cannot come call surinder. We ask what Is his number , he replied check on the board outside the hall . Mind you the time was ticking to 3 pm were all our funeral guests should be arriving soon for WAKE

We rang Surender , he said he is away too and not fully aware of the booking same response from Harry, by this time the cars from guests are arriving and creating traffic on the main road .

We went to lynne house first around 2:45 knocking on the door no response no one at home tried her phone the same with Harry no response .
Eventually surinder phoned back after several messages left , he said lynne works at oak house , because he is far away to be there to open the gate and hall .
So I phoned oak house , and informed me that lynee goes home at 3:30 and collect her daughter from school . Tried to call her phone again no response .
Drove to her house there was a car at the driveway so we know someone must be home .
Knocked at the door a man opened the door and let us in and called lynne , first time I met Lynne , she seems uncaring to what we’ve been going thru when we explained it .
She then took a short cut and opened the gate , she didn’t even told us that ,I thought she will drive to the hall as I was left waiting to follow her .
Anyway , our friends in the hall called us and informed us that the hall was then opened that was 3:55pm
However , I was informed that when lynne opened the gate , the widow asked her “ are you lynne”
“And what happened ,”
Lynn then apparently eyeball her from head to toe and said there’s “no need to be upset “ really she has all the reason to be upset she just cremated her husband .

The not deserving star is not meant to be there however you can’t post without it

Worst hall ever! Booked this hall for a family function! The caretaker came so late and it delayed everything! Had so much stress on us that day! Avoid this hall

I have had a few functions here and all very good experiences

Quite small and the event we performed had about 100 people turn up out of no where! The car park couldn’t hold that many and there were people double parking making a mess of the place.

Great place to hire. Large upstairs room &/or downstairs smaller room. On-site parking, although not enough to accommodate everyone that may attend.

I’m telling to the people this place is always busy if u check the hall calendar it’s always busy but if this place is always busy why they don’t look after this place they make lots money every month they do not spend money on his refurbished place always smell like dump no proper paint so where is the money goes .it’s means the Clark and his staff rid the money that’s why this place going to the dump
