A curt notice on the door informs the would-be visitor that the rector, MA (Oxon), who shares his name with a notable English historian and who lives next door, would unlock the church, but "but preferably by appointment," a failure on the counts of both museum curation, and evangelism. A pity for a church which rates itself as Kent's prettiest.

Beautiful church! I had my wedding here and the choir are very good! They also have bells that they ring.

Built at the same time as Westminster Abbey, and using the materials and labour from there also, earns this gem of a church the title of Little Westminster.
