Beautiful view point, had a picnic, very quiet and peaceful

Not only a pleasant building, left unlocked during the day, with an unusual mural, but one enjoying one of the best views in the country. Furthermore, it’s not just a museum like many churches. Leaflets addressing life’s problems are left out to take, and a blessing is given on the walk back. I loved it.

We were married in this beautiful church just last weekend - a truly peaceful place sitting quietly up on the hillside looking over the valley we live in to the fells and estuary beyond. Managed by the warmest folks, immaculately clean, welcoming and simply a must if you're in the area. The gorgeous church yard is filled with flowers this time of year, and the view outside is spectacular. We've loved coming here since moving to the area, but now our visits will be extra special. We came across this beautiful little church on a walk from Seizergh Castle. The view from the church is stunning.
