Reality Church London

Had a bad experience attending this church. I would not recommend it. The meeting room had a bar and you could see all the bottles of liquor on display. This is completely unfitting for a church. Some people have a real problem with temptation when it comes to alcohol. The message was all about deliverance and yet there was liquid devil clearly on display. The speaker avoided using the words sin and repentance completely, like he did not want to offend. After the message they turned the lights off so we had to fix our attention on the pop style worship music. What has worldly music got to do with the worship of God I asked myself? This church is good if you want to meet other young people, but if you want a serious encounter with the Holy God of the bible I could not recommend it.

I attended Tim's church in Los Angeles and I absolutely loved his sermons. They were real, passionate and related to our times today. His preaching is from the heart and all points to Jesus. What an amazing pastor who truly is a man after God's heart. Blessings to the church in London. I hope the Word there spreads out to the people of London and catches their hearts as the real Truth of Jesus comes back to Europe where so many people have fallen from faith because of the way certain churches have been pushing people away from our Lord. Tim and his heart on fire for the Lord has the power to bring people back to the Truth for God's great purposes. The people of Europe need to return to God. They need to rekindle and cherish a personal and deep relationship with God. Prayers for all that is done with Reality London and for all who attend there.

I went to visit, on a break from my regular church. Amazingly welcoming, great, insightful teaching and the worship is good quality and not at all showey - keep the focus on God, as it should be.

Really good Bible based church... Good friendly atmosphere... Good fellowship... Community groups and social events... Good Worship and Bible Studies...

Lovely church! Great for college students. My teenager enjoyed the preaching very much he didn’t even blink:)))).

Went to a service on my visit (from San Francisco) and was encouraged by the great service and hospitality!

We have been part of the Reality Church community for just over 3 years now and really appreciate how God is working in this community of believers to develop in Jesus Christ and reach souls in London.

You're probably wondering if you should attend so I'll keep it as clear as I can.

We focus on gospel centered preaching that also helps you connect to what's happening culturally and (I think it) has great personal application too.
All sermons point to Jesus Christ.

People always ask about the worship 😅
I get that this is important but how to describe it? I would say our worship is stripped back, it's not a show, its focused on Jesus and who he is.
As a result, you may not see much shouting, jumping ( actually it depends). As for the songs we sing contemporary songs and hymns with modern arrangements.

As for the congregation we have a cultural mix of people from all over the world. It's a reflection of central London. We have a few families and senior members too!

To connect with the church community, we have weekly in-person community groups which a great way to dig deeper into the Sunday message, meet with other Christians and grow together.

The last thing I'll mention are the equip classes which as the name suggests is all about growing in the faith through targeted training. We've covered many topics over the years from race, to films and of course we cover core topics like foundations of the faith and evangelism too.

Hopefully this short overview gives you an idea of what to expect but there's nothing like turning up. We're a friendly bunch and would love to meet you! 😃

PS. This sort of became more of an ad than a review but considering a church is not anything like a restaurant hopefully the approach above made sense and was helpful.
