On asking, they were unable to reliably inform me whether God commands something because it is good (So we don't need God to inform our moral decisions) or something is good simply because God commands it (So God could say rape, for example, is good). The salesman in question tried to shift it one stage back by saying it's in God's nature but I felt insulted that he would think I would fall for that old dodge, I simply asked him where God got his nature from, did he get it from himself or was it sourced externally? He made some sort of excuse about having to iron his cassock and he scurried off into the shadows. Very disappointing.
