I have visited this church for a year. Have been there mostly on Sundays. There are many people, who have faith in God and willingness to pray for / help others.
There is a very optimistic-sounding preaching by a young man, whose speach is mostly about himself (how he perceives God, when he for example plants tomatoes etc). There is also an old woman, whose preaching is again full of optimism. There are also some old couples, who take turns to say a prayer, or their own perspective of how their perspective of God is. But that's it.
There are ocasional activities for children. However not much going on for children above 10. My daughter has special needs and once I asked if she could come out of the room a little earlier. An old lady with a stern face, who was leading the group, said a rude NO, and closed the door. However the younger ladies, who organise the children's events are very nice.
Another time, I was not feeling well and so tired that I closed my eyes for a few minutes peace, while sitting near my daughter, at the children's table. Precisely in that moment, a man who was in charge of collecting money, violently shook the money-pouch in front of my face, to 'wake me up'. When I opened my eyes, scared, he angrily shook the pouch again. I immediately left.

I totally enjoyed my visit as I passed this beautiful historic place of worship. Based near Angel Tube Station in London's Islington Borough, it was a very pleasant surprise to see open. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very clean. It is such a pleasure being able to enter into a church again after 18 months of lockdown and restrictions to my faith walk with other likeminded followers in Christ. The Church itself has a very vast and colourful past well worth reading up on and actually visit. I even had the pleasure of hearing the bells ring as it hit 5pm. What an absolute treat. The courtyard is being upgraded, the interior has been well maintained and would make a great place to enter even for those whom do not share the same faith. There are two massive sets of golden organ tubes above the main entrance inside almost like a set of lungs to the building as it definitely causes the viewer to take a deep breath in awe of their size on display. The benches are beautifully kept and provide that extra regalness to the magnificent floor display leading up to the front. What can I say about the outside other than what has already been said by others in detail. I simply encourage you to visit and experience it for yourself as I have done on a casual afternoon walk in the area. Nearby you will find a vast array of food shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and family eateries, shops and places to buy clothes, trinkets and get yourself pampered at local hair parlours and beauty boutiques. This most surely is a very diverse and multicultural hotspot of any and everyone coming together in sharing the beauty of what this area has to offer. Will I visit this church again you ask... absolutely yes.

Such a wonderful church! My daughter and I have the privilege of being the members since 2011.

This church is very nice. I especially appreciate the book in which you can write your own prayers. Someone wrote a prayer for Tories to be removed from power. Peak Islington.
