I am well acquainted with this church as my family were deeply involved in the early pioneering days before there was a building. We moved to Coldharbour Estate in 1948 when there were only a few roads built. As a family there were mum, dad and eight children. We had a visit from a member of a nearby Baptist church who was interested in starting a Sunday school for the estate children. When he knocked at our door little did he know he would leave with an immediate Sunday school with our family.
Over the years the church expanded from a Sunday school to a full church with two worship meetings plus Sunday School on Sunday with many service taking place in our house until our building was erected.
The creed of the church is one Almighty God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, salvation by faith through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ leading to eternal life.
The Holy Bible is God's one true message to all mankind.

A great all round church of worship with real family feel. Great teaching and fellowship. I did a lot of looking and nothing else compares.

I visited for about three months after coming out of an Arminian New Apostolic leaning church in Lewisham founded by two 'Apostles'. It has good administration and is a well organised church with a clear structure to the calandar, the people are nice too and the new preacher is a good communicator.

All the same, instead of being traditionalist evangelical as I thought it was, this church is Reformed-Calvinist (like all other churches that belong to the FIEC, so it seems). I felt that the church and FIEC should be more transparent about their theological platform in their belief statement but they are not. I decided not to join, for that reason. A lack of transparency is a big red flag for any religious organsation who claims to be 'biblical', and this is no exception. To me, any many others, Calvinism is not biblical at all and subverts the Good News gospel message entirely.

If you are a Calvinist (or claim to be Reformed), this is a good church to attend: the preaching from Joshua Bell is second to none.

I am the new pastor of this really lovely church. If you’re looking for a new church home, have questions about God or the Bible, I’d love for you to visit us. Come be a part of what God is doing in Coldharbour. God bless you.

This is a Bible believing church. There are all generations of people worshipping at this church. There is a Sunday school for 3-11 year olds, crèche provided too on Sunday mornings. There is a children's club on Wednesday evenings and a youth club on Friday evenings. There are also regular women's meetings too. Come and meet with God in a family friendly church.
