Shirebrook Methodist Church

Happy days Monday at 9.30 brilliant for your under 5's.

Today I guess this would be classed as a quaint Methodist church.
I was born here and my family and I regularly went to church us kids to what's called Sunday school.
We moved when I was quite young to Langwith and continued Sunday school for some years.
Most of my family had either got married here or later life held a funeral service.
My dad passed a few months ago and it brought back many memories and still looked the same as much as I can remember.
The vicar is a lovely compassionate person and spoke to our family members prior to my dad's funeral.
A lovely service can be held here and is easy to find and caters for some parking and has removable ramps for wheel chairs.
Hope this is of use to someone just to get the feel that it's a lovely caring church for all. Thanks for reading.

A fantastic community project as well as a drop in centre for the needy and desperate. Advice workers always present dealing with benefits and housing problems. Plus a free cafe.
