Absolutely lovely church, smallest village and perhaps oldest yew tree in Britain. Volunteers who serve tea, coffe and cakes and look after the book sale are warm, friendly and nice to be around. One of my favourite places to get away from it all.

You have to wonder how this church ever gets a congregation - there are more yew trees in the churchyard than there are houses in the village.

We wanted to visit the church after spending the day at Hardwick Hall, there was a big sign outside declaring it would be open every Saturday between May and September but unfortunately it fibbed as it was locked up tight. (We were there around 4 o'clock on Sat 29/05/21)
