St Mary's Church in Bucknell consists of almost entirely of 19th century restoration of 12th and 14th century work. The Early English Gothic structure is lavishly decorated in some places, rather simpe in others. Of particular note is the Saxo-Norman tub font, featuring a pattern of irregular interlaced cords and a reliefe caring of a bearded human face. Much of the other finery, inclding stained glass and monuments date from between the restoration in 1870 and the earlier 19th century.
