Peasmarsh church is lovely. Several members of my family are buried there. Visited in the summer of 2014. Pity the graveyard was so badly maintained. Look for the Hales headstones. Will visit again when in the area.

Our family church. Beautiful and so peaceful. Would love to have got married here. The primary school is linked to the church and as a child we had some memorable walks up to the church across the fields for Easter, Christmas etc.

Early Norman Church built in 1070 with the tower added in 1170, so its a little bit older than me! Has some interesting features and is home to a flower festival and the world class Peasmarsh Festival of chamber music, both annual events.
A little ways outside of the village on a small lane (legend is the village was moved in the black death but the church stayed put).
A few spaces for parking in the church entrance but plenty of room in the lane, using the verge.
