Okay, it's over-restored, as are most Bucks town churches, but still delightful.
The Stations of the Cross are of inter-War vintage and of very high quality, however much they may worry the Low Church diehards
Note the memorial (see my photo) of one of the forgotten figures from our Civil War period

Beautiful place, dropped by for a visit and to light a candle for loved ones we have lost.
Really peaceful and beautiful to look at. Could sit in this place for a long time and enjoy the stress free atmosphere.
Stunning place

Please be aware that this church is very historical so there is a lot to pick up. Church services are of good quality but expect on Sundays for it to be packed. Also there is a church school attached to the church which maybe a interest to other parents.

Awesome.and my Grandson was impressed with the old tombs and that the church was open plus there was money left ion a collection plate, he loved lighting g a candle for his Dad who is still waiting to vote to the UK to live from RSA.

One of my favorite churches. Deborah is great and the vibe in here is good.

Though I'm sad to see Deborah leaving, I'm sure the new priest will be every bit as welcoming. It's a lovely oasis of peace in a gorgeously winding churchyard setting with a stream nearby, perfect for continuing your contemplation as you wend your way home or to the aquadrome. I really like the glass and the stations, one of the best churches near London. And it's open a lot, which is very welcome when so many churches are not. We had beautiful condolences books and flowers for the Queen, and I was free to play the piano as I often do in here. One of my favourite churches. It also has an attached cloisters and hall.

A beautiful church.
Generally open each day of the week.
The website has a full history.
A church has been in the area since c1191.
But the current church dates from mid 19th Century.
