A church whose appealingly unusual architecture is matched by the two trees that greet you in the approach to one of the entrances. I think the best way to understand it is to check out my photos of this place. I love traditional buildings. This one stands out.

We got married here in 1996 and hope to visit soon as it is our 25th wedding anniversary. We miss the people, the church and is incredible history. It is magical place where tranquility will descend upon you as you enter through the Norman arch. If you the opportunity to visit would recommend you do, you will not be disappointed.

St Mary the Virgin Bedfont has been the parish Church since around the year 900. The building is beautiful with mediaeval paintings and several Saxon features. More than the building the Church is an active community of faith. It is an important part of Bedfont community.
