Beautiful 16th century church, with some gorgeous cottages surrounding on the grounds.

On entering the church one experienced a feeling of tranquility and peace comforting in other words during this pandemic this feeling provided a nessesary recollection of hope and eternal peace thankyou 🙏

Hellingly Church or the Church of St Peter and St Paul is a lovely and typical English village church with a tall (New?) stone steeple and clock. It has eight bells, the tenor is over eight hundred weight. It's a photographers delight inside with a large beautiful organ, sadly hidden behind a glass window. Quite a large church considering the size of the village. Information pamphlets are available for a small donation. Open to the public most of the time but you have to park in the road. The grounds are really well kept and the surrounding area is very scenic. There are different areas in the church for private prayer and for those of a different denomination.

A nice old church, very pretty

The prettiest of church locations. The graveyard is immaculate. Surrounded by lovely cottages all beautifully maintained.
