Quakers Religious Society Of Friends

I would just briefly say Ipswich Quakers are a lovely, friendly group committed to the Quaker values of truth, justice, peace and simplicity.

The main meeting is on Sunday morning from 10:30 until 11:30. Everyone sits in a circle quietly and there is a "gathered stillness" which is very peaceful. Anyone who wants to share with the group is welcome to do so. There is no one leading the service.

When I walked in (about 6 years ago) I immediately felt as though I had come "home". The people are friendly and supportive to each one who comes in through the door. Pop in some time, even if it is just for a cup of tea or a chat.

I've been attending this Meeting on and off for years and I'm always glad to go back after an absence. I miss the stillness if I don't go. No judgement and a lot of interesting people.
