St Mary's Church

Beautiful old church it's stood here since 1243. I'm not religious but love to walk round old places and the interior is lovely shame they removed the old pews a few years ago but i guess they needed more space. Nice place to sit in quiet and rest also love the graveyard and looking at the history of the people which once lived here. I would say that on the weekends when you hear the church bells they seem very fast and you can't enjoy the sound so i don't know if it is automated as no one can pull the bells at that speed so please reduce the speed so witney can enjoy listening to the bells. Thank you

A wonderful Church that is much love din Witney and host a variety of events throughout the year such as the Beer Festival, the Foodies Festival, Remembrance Ceremony and many Christmas events.

Very nice church. I was drawn to this church for a reason. And now I know why. God told me to go and so I did. It took me a while to go but after I saw Ness the curate I felt relaxed and needed. God bless who ever reads this.
