Church of St Peter & St Paul, Mansfield

Typical old church. Splendid in its splendour. Reminder of a scene we were all familiar with and now sadly far fewer remain. Good that its open to the public

It's 21:06pm on Thursday 25th October 2018 and I'm trying to get my kids to sleep but I can't because this place keeps ringing it's stupid bells!!!

Beautiful Church, i enjoy the quite time to sit, reflect on my life and say sorry for things I've got wrong.

Always welcoming, mix of ages & services on Sunday & during the week.

Lovely church to visit.

A very pleasant church however having done a very great deal for it a few years ago I was by some critisized , I have found some don't appear to follow the meaning outside, yes may be important to attend regularly,, but Christianity is outside of the building,, my family had supported it from 1952 any how I gave up, a bit circular, clicky since my own ancestors have been highly involved going right back to Henry 8ths time I think I'm somewhat part qualified to say my piece, some critisized using the original old school hall for feeding homeless that was deplorable, I found that totally unacceptable, not for me
I withdrew

Amazing church, great church family vary welcoming.

Always a thought provoking sermon. Vicar includes verger, & reader in the service which is excellent. Thoughtful staff.
