If you are 'into' churches then this is worth a visit whilst in Youlgrave. Parts are quite old (15C). Interesting display of coloured glass panelling relating to the War. Comprehensive descriptive handbook providing the history of the Church is available for £2 on a table to the right as you enter.

At a meeting of roads in the delightful Derbyshire village of Youlgreave, All Saints' Church is stunningly beautiful, early 12th century, grade I listed building and has a finely carved Norman font, an ancient carving of a pilgrim and the 1488 Cockayne tomb. The striking west tower dominates over the village and the 15th century nave roof features decorative bosses in the shape of grotesque creatures mixed with heraldic shields. It has a lovely old upright piano, a keyboard and a 2 manual, 16 stop pipe organ. It is usually open from 9am to 6pm daily to visitors and is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.
